Special Announcement - Mike on M365 newsletter preview edition
A newsletter to help understand M365 Purview and eDiscovery
First off, thank you for being a subscriber to Thought-Provoking Things Worth Sharing. I hope you have enjoyed reading the things I share each week and that they are, indeed, provoking you to think.
Today, I’m sending you an extra email to let you know of a new newsletter that I am soft-launching this week - Mike McBride on M365.
After years of blogging and writing newsletters just to share things I’ve been learning, I’ve decided to dip my toes in the paid-newsletter world.
What do I think is so valuable that I would ask you to pay for it? For the last few years, I’ve been working and diving deep into the Microsoft 365 platform, from the perspective of an eDiscovery professional.
Do you know what I’ve found in that time? That M365 is complicated. Trying to keep track of everything that goes on in the platform and what eDiscovery, Records Management, and other groups should be concerned about is a full-time job.
I’m offering to help. I’m offering to do some testing and write about current events and changes from the perspective of a 15-year eDiscovery professional.
If that interests you, subscribe.
Free subscribers will get some good information from me. Paid subscribers will get deeper dives and more stuff. Right now, I’m offering that at the introductory price of $7 per month, or $75 per year.
While you consider subscribing, let me share the first issue with you, for free. It’s a deeper look at a recent court order, and how you might attempt to satisfy the requirements of the order using the Microsoft Purview eDiscovery tools.
Admittedly, it’s a bit of a long read, but this is the thing about M365 - it’s deeper than it appears. There is always more than meets the eye, and it’s always changing. Let’s see if we can work together to shed some light on what is really happening.
